What is the difference between the Halo 3 Standard, Collector’s, and Legendary Editions?
Standard Edition: $59.99 (USD) – Comes with one DVD (Halo 3 game) and the manual.
Collector’s Edition: $69.99 (USD) - Comes with one DVD (Halo 3 game) and the manual, stylish metal collector’s case, a bonus DVD and a hardcover guide, “Beastiarum”. The bonus DVD includes a “Making of Halo 3″ documentary, an exclusive Dashboard theme, a Halo-themed mini-game, plus a variety of Halo-related short films.
Legendary Edition: $129.99 (USD) - Includes everything from the Collector’s Edition plus Master Chief Helmet Replica with a display stand, and the “Legendary DVD”. The Legendary disk contains re-mastered high-res Halo: Combat Evolved and Halo 2 cinematic, an expanded digital Bestarium guide to the creatures and culture of Halo 3, The Cortana Chronicles, a featurette documenting a day in the life at Bungie and exclusive Machinima (Red vs Blue) episodes.
Are there achievements in Halo 3?
Yes. There are 49 achievements in Halo 3, with 36 achievements for single-player (solo) and 13 achievements for multi-player. You can earn 1000 gamer points, which can unlock the Kartana armor.
What is Campaign Scoring?
Campaign scoring allows you to view your running total of points received for every kill that you make. Every enemies and vehicles has a base score, which is added to the total points when you kill or destroy them. A multiplier can increase the base scores. For instance, a headshot has a multiplier of 1.25. There is time multiplier whereby any kills within the first 15 minutes earns you a multiplier of 3. The scoring option, “Free for All” will display total points for each player in either single or Co-op sessions. The “Team” scoring option will display total points for all players in Co-op sessions.
How to Activate Campaign Scoring?
At the Campaign Lobby of your Halo 3, press “X. Highlight the “Off” entry, which is above the skulls. Press “A” to accept and you will be prompted to confirm if you have a currently saved game. Press the Left Thumb-stick to display the different options available – Off, Free For All and Team. For single player, you can either set in to Free for All or Team.
